Siddy Creek by Lara Lee Sweety

Jake, Adam, Jess, and Pageflex Persona [document: PRS0000035_00031]Brian are coming home to Siddy Creek.

Laurel MacClain is ready to move forward.  When the man in her life—her first love—Navy SEAL Captain, Jake LeGrande gets home, things seem chilly at best.  He’s told her he loves her and wants to spend the rest of his life with her.  Nothing is going right.  Including the fact that she still has a nonexistent sex life.  Unsure if he’s changed his mind, she makes a date with an old friend to challenge Jake’s resolve.  Her problems with the farm and with Jake aren’t by themselves on her list of worries.  Laurel wants to see everyone happy.

Jess and Shannon still have communication issues, except in the bedroom.  Figuring out how to start their life together is perplexing, but worth the fight.  When Shannon gives Jess what he asks for, she gets another special first—and another.

Adam is glad to be home with the one and only girl he has ever fallen in love with—Jen.  Jen is now jobless, and homeless.  With nothing static in her life, she hesitates to give up the one last thing she has control over.  Trying to cement their relationship before Adam has to leave again, he is determined to rise to the challenge.

Brian normally has to have liquid courage to even speak to a woman.  He shocks everyone when he speaks to Jamie like a real ladies man.  Jamie’s past fuels horrible insecurities.  She might be too damaged to be any good for a man like Brian.  Jamie doesn’t know how much of a good guy Brian really is.  He’ll take big risks for the woman he’s fallen for.  Literally.

Laurel, finally on overload, can hear the buzzer going off.  With a man who doesn’t seem to “want to”, only days to plan a wedding, and an entire house full of adults, Laurel is a little frazzled.  A threat to her life convinces her to give certain things up in favor of order.  Jake just might be one of them.

MacClain family…they love hard and fight harder. **Adult Content**
